Most of Easterleigh Cottage is thought to have been built around 1840, in typical Cotswold stone. It is a semi-detached cottage, i.e. the building to the right of the central chimney as viewed from the front. The name comes from the Anglo Saxon word "leigh" or "leah", meaning an open meadow.
It has a low beamed ceiling with comfy sofas and leather chairs for 7 arranged around an open fireplace with a wrought iron wood burner. You will find a bucket of logs ready for you!
Step through the sitting room to the bright conservatory dining room. The perfect venue for family birthday parties and dinners.
At the heart of the house is a modern, fully equipped kitchen capable of sitting six,. It has a Rayburn (Aga) as well as a modern cooker and hob.

Complete with en- suite Bathroom, it can take a cot, and is the perfect bright and airy cottage bedroom.

There is double glazing and new central heating throughout, with cottage-style windows that keep the upstairs cool and airy through the summer. New curtains have been locally handmade. Paintings and furnishings are a blend of modern, and antiques acquired from various auctions around the country.
